Launch of the Eco-Conservative Initiative Project in Ho: Promoting Natural Heritage for Sustainable Communities

On October 12th, 2023, YVE Ghana officially launched the Eco-Conservative Initiative project in Ho under the theme: “Promoting Natural Heritage, a Commitment to Sustainable Communities.” The launch brought together traditional and opinion leaders from the Tokokoe and Likpe communities, alongside representatives from the Forestry Commission, the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, and partners from the Fidep Foundation.

The event emphasized the importance of promoting natural heritage as a foundation for sustainable community development. Stakeholders engaged in discussions to strengthen collaboration and ensure that the project’s activities reflect the needs and aspirations of the communities involved.
This launch marks a significant step towards fostering environmental stewardship and sustainable livelihoods in the Volta Region through collective commitment and community-centered approaches.
