On November 26th, 2023, YVE Ghana held a durbar in the Likpe Mate community focused on promoting natural heritage Likpe Mate under the theme: “Promoting Natural Heritage, a Commitment to Sustainable Communities.” This important event was part of the first phase of the Eco-Conservation Initiative Project.

The durbar served as a platform to engage community members directly in the execution of the project and to emphasize the critical role of preserving natural heritage in building sustainable communities. By focusing on promoting natural heritage Likpe Mate, YVE Ghana ensured that the project remains community-centered, with local voices guiding conservation and development efforts.





The gathering fostered active participation, knowledge exchange, and strengthened the community’s commitment to protecting their environment while enhancing livelihoods.
